A downwards-facing rose offers a more focused flow. Avoid washout and dribbling by withdrawing the can from the area before it empties completely. Do not apply excessive force when fitting the rose, there should be a gap between the end of the rose and the shoulder of the spout, if the rose becomes blocked, soak in a weak solution of bleach or blow through with air.

Haws are proud to be the world's oldest watering can manufacturer.
