Krumpholz is a fine maker of the best hand-forged garden tools in the world. For over 220 years, this family-run blacksmithing company has combined tradition and innovation to build garden tools that look and feel great, function perfectly, and stand the test of time.

Using the iconic Cape Cod design for weeding, this weeder has been forged using premium German steel and forging techniques to create the perfect gardening tool to tackle rigorous weeding.

The solid steel is capable of effortlessly slicing weeds and shifting soil, with the ash handle providing a comfortable grip and a sustainable product, built to last and made of finest-quality materials.

Powered by its own hydroelectric turbines, the Krumpholz-Werkzeuge forge in Germany has stood since the Middle Ages. Even today, each individual tool still undergoes countless manual steps, a process which guarantees its exceptional quality.

You don't just buy a Krumpholz tool. You acquire it. You invest in it. Because it will accompany you in the garden for decades – before being passed down to the next generation of gardeners.

Each Krumpholz tool is born from the heat of blue-flame embers, from the power of the shaping hammer, and from the unconditional will to produce nothing but solid quality.

Cape cod hoe

I'm previously used to using a japanese hand hoe, so this cape cod hoe is a bit of an adjustment.
It took me awhile with a file to give it a functional edge, it's very well made though, the quality is excellent.

Im hoping it'll become my go-too hand tool, in the meantime I'll be lending it out to my professional gardener colleagues for their thoughts too and will direct them here if they want one of their own.
