Going back hundreds of years, the Japanese tradition of bonsai has evolved very specific pruning techniques, requiring specialist skills - and precision tools.

These Japanese pruning scissors have high carbon steel blades to retain their razor-sharp edge. The fine, pointed blades are able to reach and isolate stems for pruning, while the handles are the perfect size to give precise control. Combining reach, strength and precision, this tool is also invaluable for all general plant styling, as well as for Japanese ikebana and Western floristry.
