Application Guide
Application rates may vary depending on soil type, vegetation and local environment.

Gardens, vegetable patches & home orchards
Apply 1 Litre per m². For best results, mix through the top 10–20 cm of soil.

Top-dress application
Can be spread on the surface at the same rate (1 Litre per m²).

Tree planting
Mix 1 Litre into the backfill soil at planting and water in thoroughly.

Seasonal feeding
Reapply every 6 weeks throughout the growing season to keep your soil and plants thriving.

Fish and chips is a lasting soil ally — once biochar is in your soil, it remains there permanently. Just five applications are enough to boost soil health for generations. After this, maintain balance by moving on to our Salt & Vinegar blend.
