Untreated metal products, such as these, will develop a patina over time (and as these have had a long journey from the UK may arrive as such!). For a lot of people this rustic look is part of the copper's appeal, but if your product develops mottled surface spots, and you don’t like them, Haws recommends using Peek Metal Polish paste and soft cloth to restore its original shine.

Fabulous

It has to be the prettiest watering can I have ever seen and I think the copper will age beautifully. Now I don’t have to hide an ugly watering can. I leave it out on the shelf as beautiful ornament! It also functions perfectly.
