The Hi-Sun grows up to 1.2m tall and is ideal as a bee attracting border, and to provide a wind break and much needed shade for some of your summer crops. It also produces good yields of high quality sunflower seeds for snacking.

Position: Full sun, with protection from wind. Sunflowers are tall plants that will cast a shadow, so position accordingly.

Soil: Sunflowers will grow in most soil types, but will prefer well drained soil that is prepared with compost.

Soil pH Level: 6.5–7.5

Spacing: 20 – 30 cm

Depth 1cm - 3cm

Companion Plants Cucumber, Melon, Squash & Sweetcorn

Approximate no. of seeds 15-20

Note: Seeds are sourced locally and in small batches to ensure they remain at their maximum viability for germination. Seeds viable for 5+ years when stored correctly in a cool, dry, dark place.

Biosecurity Note: Due to strict state regulations, we cannot ship Potting Mixes to WA, NT, or TAS, and Seeds cannot be shipped to WA.
